Shaving is considered a temporary hair removal solution, because the results only last from a few hours to a couple of days. Depending on the hair growth rate, the shaved hair will re-grow harder and stronger, needing you to re-shave more and more often. And also, this hair removal method is very often causing hair ingrown, especially in the pubic area. Other disadvantages of shaving may be cuts and skin irritation, the frequency of use, and eventually the cost associated with it, because the blades require frequent replacement.

Don't get me wrong, shaving has its advantages too, and the best ones are the availability and the convenience. What I am trying to suggest is that you should try other hair removal methods, more long-lasting, more effective, and go for shaving only in case of "emergency".
